Bravo Bells are meticulously crafted in the USA using state-of-the-art, lead-free pewter. Each Bravo Bell comes equipped with a 24 mm nickel-plated split ring, a 2" x 3 1/2" velveteen drawstring black bag, and a Bravo Bells Legend Card.
These bells are designed to serve as a deterrent against "gremlins" while on the open road, and they also serve as a gentle reminder to fellow bikers to prioritize safety. However, there are a few guidelines to ensure the bells work as intended:
Firstly, the bell should be hung from the lowest part of the bike. This ensures that any "gremlins" attempting to reach the bike will become trapped in the bell's hollow. Secondly, the bell should be positioned towards the front of the bike, as the ringing sound it produces helps to drive the "gremlins" away.
It's important to note that the effectiveness of the bell's magic is influenced by the manner in which it is obtained. If you purchase the bell yourself, the magic will work as intended. However, if the bell is gifted to you by a friend or loved one, the magic is said to be twice as powerful.
Additionally, if you ever decide to sell your bike, it's recommended to keep the bell. The bell is considered a precious gift of love and goodwill, and should not be separated from its rightful owner.
On the other hand, if you attempt to steal a bell from someone else's bike, you'll not only have to deal with your own "gremlins," but also those that would have been assigned to the previous owner.
The story behind the Bravo Bells' purpose dates back to an encounter between an old, gray-bearded biker and the mischievous "gremlins" he encountered on his journey home from Mexico. As the biker traveled under a full moon on a cool desert night, his saddlebags filled with trinkets for his biker friends and their children, he was unaware of the "gremlins" lying in wait.
These "gremlins" had set traps on the road and deployed invisible, devilish devices to sabotage the biker's journey. As the biker rounded a sharp turn, a coyote was herded onto the road, causing the biker to skid and crash into a ditch. Waking up, the biker saw the "gremlins" moving towards him, his saddlebag torn off and lying beside him.
Desperate, the biker began throwing items from his bag, and the only things that seemed to scare the "gremlins" were the bells he had bought for the children. Grabbing the bells, the biker was amazed to find that the ringing sound seemed to confuse and deter the "gremlins." Fortunately, a couple of fellow bikers heard the bells and, upon seeing the biker's distress, yelled to frighten away any animals.
Grateful for the rescue, the old gray-bearded biker used tassels from his saddlebag to tie a bell to each of the bikers' bikes, explaining how the bells would warn off the "gremlins" and provide a means of calling for help if they ever found themselves in trouble.
